Today's Tangle - Two Color Flower

"Two Color Flower" is a design by Moon Lee. She posted her step-outs HERE in the Anything Goes - Tangled Art For Everyone Facebook group. I obviously used more than two colors on my tile.

Video Tutorial - Solstice Nova

I followed the "Solstice Nova" video tutorial by Romi Marks which you can watch HERE. I drew mine on a 3.5 x 3.5 inch tile. The featured tangles are a variation of "Zenith" by Zentangle, "Fragment B12" or "Fragment C12", also by Zentangle and "Biscus" by Vicki Bassett. Links to the step-outs for those tangles are below.

Video Tutorial - This Little Light

I followed the "This Little Light" video tutorial by Romi Marks which you can watch HERE. I drew this tile a bit differently than my previous one, which you can see HERE. I used a kraft paper tile and for some reason it didn't look right with shaded colors. So, I went with flat color instead except for the orange orb in the center. I also left some areas of the kraft paper showing through the design.

I followed THIS "Polynesian Star" video tutorial by Romi Marks. I adapted her design to fit on a square tile instead of a diamond-shaped tile.

Video Tutorial - This Little Light

I followed the "This Little Light" video tutorial by Romi Marks which you can watch HERE. I think that Romi used a 4.5x4.5 inch tile. I used a 3.5x3.5 inch tile for mine.

Video Tutorial - Hurry Flower Class

I had so much fun drawing my previous "Hurry Flower Class" tile that I decided to draw another one in a different color scheme. I also drew the Hurry Flower a little larger this time but still on a 3.5x3.5 inch tile.

Video Tutorial - MandalaNPA 083

For today's tile, I followed the "MandalaNPA 083" video by Nidhi Prakash which you can watch HERE. I started out drawing on a 6-inch tile like she does in the video but found it too unwieldy to work with so I switched to a Zendala size round tile. I really don't enjoy drawing at a larger scale. I used colored pencils and a metallic gold Gelly Roll pen to embellish my tile.

This is one of the earliest Tangledyogi videos and Romi posted it four years ago. I had never tried it until Monday and I'm sorry that I waited so long. I love how my tile turned out.
