Video Tutorial - Fun with Renaissance

I followed THIS "Fun with Renaissance" video by Miranda Gerber CZT of Tanglewerk. You can see examples of her tiles HERE on Instagram. The featured tangles are "Fescu" and "Moon Pie" by Zentangle.  I also used some "Printemps" in the background. Miranda used gel pens to color her tile. I used colored pencils on mine.

Today's tile is a mandala of my own creation using the tangles "Azteka" by Cyndi Knapp, "Desert" by Angie Gittles, "Mathura" by Anne Marks, as well as "Mogo" and "Roadrunner" by Angie Gittles.

I followed the "Fun Tile with Hi-Cs and Canyon Patterns" video tutorial by Barbara Langston. You can watch the video HERE. The featured tangles are "Canyon" by Angie Gittles and "Hi-Cs" by Anita Roby-Lavery. I really liked the green accents on Barbara's sample tile so I used a similar color on my tile. I also added a little bit of metallic silver.

Today's Tangle - Butria

"Butria" is by Ute Andresen CZT and you'll find her step-out HERE on her blog. My octagon tile was inspired by one that I saw on Instagram. That one was drawn on a hexagon tile but I prefer working with octagon tiles because I can make them from standard 3.5x3.5" tiles with the corners trimmed off.
