"Rashell" is by Lin Chiu CZT and her pattern is found HERE at TanglePatterns. This pattern looks somewhat similar to Silke Wagner's "Dischidia" which I blogged about HERE.

Today's Tangle - Dayzee-Mae

"Dayzee-Mae" is by Bunny Wright CZT and you'll find her pattern HERE at TanglePatterns. I decided not to fill the entire background with black so instead I filled every other row of the ogee grid instead. For the rows in between, I filled the flower petals with black.

Today's Tangle - What The Well

"What The Well" is by Jody Genovese CZT and her pattern is posted HERE at TanglePatterns. I drew the tile below first to try out the pattern.

I followed THIS video tutorial by Sandhya Manne. Mine ended up a little different than hers because I had trouble getting the elements the same size as hers.

Today's Tangles - Kwakkel Three & Tentoculus

"Kwakkel Three" is by Nicole Dreyer and her step-out is posted HERE at Pattern-Collections. Mimi has a video HERE. I regret adding the white border but I'm pleased that the silver glitter ink shows up quite nicely on my scanned tile.

Video Tutorial - Nidhi Prakash Mandala 4

I decided to go ahead and add some shading to the tile that I blogged about yesterday. I thought it looked too flat without it and I think that the shading improves it. Below you can see both versions side-by-side. Click on the picture to see it full size.

I followed yet another video tutorial by Nidhi Prakash. I resisted the urge to add shading to my 6x6-inch tile and left it unshaded as suggested in the video. I did add some touches of turquoise colored pencil and some metallic bronze gel pen. I also added a few of my own tweaks to the design.
