"Mika" is by Sarah Harrison and you will find the pattern HERE at TanglePatterns. The step-out doesn't really give any hints as to how to draw and position the shapes and I couldn't come up with an intuitive way to draw her design. So, instead, I divided the ribbon into squares with a pencil to make a grid. I then drew sort of "fish" shapes that cross at their tails inside each square reversing the direction in every other square. Mine don't look as softly curvy as Sarah's but it was much easier to get consistent results.
