2026 Desk Calendar for Zentangle Tiles

For the past three years, I've posted a printable calendar with a space to insert a standard Zentangle tile each month. I have updated the calendar for 2026 and you can download a free copy of it using the link below. For more information about the calendar, read THIS post.

Print the PDF file at actual size. There will be two months on each of six 8.5x11" sheets of paper. There are lines on the pages that show where to crop them to fit in a picture frame. I use mounting squares to stick a tile to the calendar each month. They work great, they are reusable and they don't damage the tiles.

Something Fun - Zentangle Tile Icons

I thought you might like to see how I've decorated my computer desktop with miniature versions of some of my favorite Zentangle tiles. I used my Paint Shop Pro to shrink the tile scans and then I used IrfanView to save them as Windows icon files. I think they are much nicer to look at than the plain folder icons that come with Windows.

Zentangle® Project Pack 26 - Day 2

This is the Day 2 tile from Zentangle Project Pack 26. You can watch the video HERE. The featured tangle is "Paradox".

I don't have the project pack so I took a screenshot of the tile in the video. I printed the photo on regular printer paper at the actual size of a Zendala tile and traced the string with a dark pencil. I then placed the image face down on a round tile and rubbed the design onto the tile.

I might draw this again because I didn't think about making sure that the half circle cutouts and auras were aligned with each other on this tile. I don't think it looks too bad though unless I focus on the center which kind of makes me feel like I'm going cross-eyed.

Video Tutorial - Everything is on the Way to Somewhere

For today's tile, I followed THIS Tangledyogi video by Romi Marks called "Everything is on the Way to Somewhere". I drew mine on a 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch tile. I have some of the Prismacolor pencils that Romi used and I replaced the others with similar colors from my stash. I opted to fill the outlines with a metallic gold Gelly Roll.
