For the past two years, I've posted a printable calendar with a space to insert a standard Zentangle tile each month. I have updated the calendar for 2025 and you can download a free copy of it using the link below. For more information about it, read THIS post.

Print the PDF file at actual size. There will be two months on each of six 8.5x11 sheets of paper. There are lines on the pages that show where to crop them to fit in a picture frame. I use mounting squares to stick a tile to the calendar each month. They work great, they are reusable and they don't damage the tiles.
I followed the "Sound of Sunshine" video class by Romi Marks which you can watch HERE. I used a 3.5 x 3.5 inch tile so I tweaked the center part of the design a bit to fit on a smaller tile. The featured tangle is "Tulip Nancy" by Marguerite Samama. You'll find her step-out HERE on Instagram.

I first blogged about my tangleation of a pattern called "Tessie" by Kim Aarts HERE way back in 2018. You'll find the step-out for "Kimmie" in that post as well as several example tiles. Yesterday, Barbara Langston put up a video tutorial for "Kimmie" which you can watch HERE. Her video inspired me to draw another "Kimmie" tile last night.
