Sunday's Tangle - Elle-Bee

This adorable pattern is called "Elle-Bee" and it's by Lindy Clarkson. You'll find her step-out HERE at Pattern-Collections.com. I embellished mine with a scalloped border along the bottom.

Saturday's Tangle - Circadox

"Circadox" is a circular version of "Paradox" and is by Linda Tomich CZT. I found her step-out HERE on Pinterest. Ellen Wolters has a video HERE and Melinda Barlow CZT has one HERE. There is not much difference between my two tiles except that I used different card stock and I was more careful drawing the lines on the second one.

Friday's Tangle - Auralipse

"Auralipse" is by Karl Reutling. His tangle was posted in a Facebook group called Square One™: Purely Zentangle® and there is no step-out available that I know of.

I drew the blue tile below first but decided that the dark color of the paper muted most of the detail so I drew the one above.

Thursday's Tangle - Kalau

This pattern called "Kalau" is by Katja Rudolph and her step-out can be found HERE at Pattern-Collections.com. Dawn Collins did a video on this pattern HERE. I drew four strings in pencil across my tile and drew the spiral "S" shapes along the strings.

Wednesday's Tangle - Another Quli

Yesterday I showed you "Quli" as a single string of them across my tile. I had a lot of fun drawing it so I drew another tile and filled it with this pattern. It took some time to set up the grid but I think it was worth the effort. I filled the entire tile with a diagonal grid of tiny squares. I started by drawing a pencil grid with 5/16" squares then I divided them all in half because I wanted the grid to be small enough to get several elements across the tile. I used metallic colored pencils again but this time in silver, gold and copper.

"Quli" is by OlgaArtCat86 and her pattern is posted HERE on Flickr.

I liked this tile so well that I've turned it into a jigsaw puzzle for you to play with. I created it with BrainsBreaker which you can buy HERE. You don't need to buy the program to play the puzzle.
