"Hoodie" is by Rosemary Turpin and her step-out is HERE at TanglePatterns. I had so much fun drawing yesterday's tile that I just had to draw another one, this time in classic black on white.

"Hoodie" is by Rosemary Turpin and her step-out is HERE at TanglePatterns. Once I figured out an easy and consistent way to draw this, I found it thoroughly enjoyable. I used a box grid instead of drawing it freehand.

Today's Tangle - Venetian Fans

"Venetian Fans" is an adaptation of the pattern called "Venetian" by Elaine Benfatto which is posted HERE at Pattern-Collections. I was inspired by Natasha Gardner's experiments with this design which she posted in the Pattern-Collections Facebook group.

I used metallic colored pencils to color this tile and the accent dots are metallic silver gel pen. Read yesterday's post HERE for a step-out showing how I drew this pattern.
