Classic Zentangle® - Crescent Moon, Dewd & Knightsbridge

I drew this tile for a prompt in the Today's Tangles: Keeping it Classic Facebook group.

These are the tangles that I used:

Crescent Moon - I blogged about "Crescent Moon" HERE.

Dewd - I blogged about "Dewd" HERE.

Knightsbridge - I blogged about "Knightsbridge" HERE.

Today's Tangle - Quiltz

"Quiltz" is by Kym Barlow and her pattern is HERE at TanglePatterns. I found two video tutorials HERE and HERE. Please excuse the odd shading on my tile. I used graphite but my scanner turned it a sort of peach color.

Today's Tangle - M-Line

"M-Line" is by Kasturi Das and her pattern is posted HERE at Pattern-Collections. Dawn Collins has a video HERE. I added a touch of color and lots of metallic sepia Gelly Roll dots. The speckles on the background are flecks of color embedded in the card stock that I used.

Today's Tangle - Taiga

"Taiga" is by Tomàs Padrós and his pattern is posted HERE at TanglePatterns. My tile features the grid version except that I drew mine in a box grid instead of a dot grid as shown on the step-out. I thoroughly enjoyed drawing this and found it very satisfying. I thought it would be difficult to draw but it really wasn't.

The Tireless Tangler has a YouTube video about this tangle HERE and Tangle Dream has one HERE.

I drew "Taiga" on two more tiles to see how it would look on a white tile. I drew it a bit larger on the tile below but I think I prefer it smaller.

Below is a white tile with "Taiga" drawn the same size as the one at the top of this post. My favorite it still the one on the tan tile because I think that the shading looks nicer. The white water color paper that I used for the other two is kind of bumpy and the texture is noticeable in the shading on the two white tiles.

Today's Tangle - Madeline

"Madeline" is by Lila Holter and her pattern is found HERE at Pattern-Collections. Dawn Collins has a video about this pattern HERE. I drew mine in a box grid the same way that I would draw the tangle called "Bales". It's the double rice shapes that are added at the end that give this a different look than "Bales". I embellished mine with color and some metallic gold dots.
