I drew this tile by following THIS Tangledyogi 333 video class on YouTube by Romi Marks. Read yesterday's post for more information and a link to a star template. I drew this one on the same thick watercolor paper that I use for drawing classic Zentangle tiles. I didn't realize until later that I pressed a little too hard with my pencil while tracing the star template onto my tile. This left a star-shaped impression all the way around that I wasn't able to fill in with the colored pencils. I will have to remember to draw more lightly next time I trace a template.
Below is the same star drawing which I cut out digitally, placed on a digital background image and added a digital drop shadow.
