Here is one more "Samhradh" tile. This time I added some embellishments and color. I used a clear glitter pen to draw the concentric circles in the black areas.

Today's Tangle - haKrall

"haKrall" is by Holly Atwater and her step-out is posted HERE on her blog. While drawing this tile yesterday, I thought it seemed familiar. It turns out that I mentioned this pattern in my February 27, 2022 post about the pattern called "Rush Hour" which you can read HERE. In that post I also mentioned another similar pattern called "Squoven" by Mandy Needham. While "haKrall" and "Rush Hour" are both drawn using the same method, "Squoven" is drawn a little differently.

Today's Tangle - The Source of Life

Today's octagon tile was inspired by "The Source of Life" project created by Tomás Padrós for the Zentangle Beyond Language event. You can see his tile HERE on Instagram. I really like the organic plant-like silhouettes on his tile so I drew only those and didn't add any color or other embellishments to mine. I looked through my entire stash of tangle patterns to find ones that would work well with this concept.

I wasn't sure how to use this cool-looking tangle but eventually decided that it would work pretty well in combination with "Hollis".
