Today's Tangle - Krokus
"Krokus" is by Sue Schneider CZT and her step-out is posted HERE at TanglePatterns.com. This is fun to draw and can be embellished in a lot of ways. The basic fragment can be placed in different positions to vary the design. Jem Miller has a very pretty example of this tangle HERE in her blog. I drew the tile above first then drew the two tiles below to try some different things with the pattern.
It's now one of my favorites too. My first tile was inspired by one that I saw on the Zentangle Mosaic app. I didn't quite get the same effect they did because theirs was drawn with white ink on a tan tile then they accented it with purple. It looked like a stained glass window.
I really like Krokus - it's one of my favourites - and you've done great things with it. Thanks for mentioning me too!
