I found the pattern for "Loopies" HERE on Cookie's Crafts on Flickr.
This is one of two patterns called "Lichen" and is by Jennifer Hohensteiner. Her version is found HERE at TanglePatterns.com. The other one is HERE at Pattern-Collections.com and looks completely different. With hundreds of tangle patterns on the internet, it's surprising how few duplicate names there are.

That second version of Lichen looks just like the tangle Warped Eggs. As you say, the names incredibly don't duplicate as much as you'd expect, but sometimes the patterns do.
