Today's Tangles

"Caracole" is by Lily Moon and her step-out is posted HERE at Pattern-Collections.com. She also has a video tutorial HERE.

UPDATE: The Pattern-Collections website has shut down. Click HERE to view this pattern.

I saw this pattern on the Pattern-Collections.com Facebook page. No one seems to know the name of it but it is similar to the Zentangle pattern called "Well" and another pattern called "Stella".

UPDATE 8/6/2018: There is now a step-out available for this pattern HERE at Pattern-Collections.com. The name of the pattern is "In-N-Out Well".

Lindy Clarkson's "Florascroll Double" pattern is HERE at Pattern-Collections.com. I drew, embellished and colored each of the elements a little differently.

I found this fun tangle called "Octoleg" HERE on Damy's blog. Damy has several example images showing interesting ways to use this pattern. I drew mine along both sides of a curvy line.

This one called "Yuu", is also by Damy and it's HERE on her blog. I really love this design. First I drew separate elements like she did on her step-out. Below you can see how it looks drawn on a grid.

"Zefirki" is by Alena Light. She posted her step-out HERE on Facebook. Nicole Dreyer posted THIS lovely tile featuring "Zefirki". I had some trouble drawing this pattern at first and I found it very helpful to turn the pattern sideways and draw it horizontally rather than vertically. Doing so seems to give me better control when drawing the curvy lines.

You'll find the pattern for "Zeihryt" HERE on the LonettA's CREA(R)TIVES blog. It's by Annette Plaga-Lodde CZT.
